Hello Blog!
Recently we had a project assigned where we had to develop a music video based off a song chosen in class. Not only did we have that, but we also had a presentation where we created a marketing campaign for our band. My group consisted of 4 girls, and we all participated equally. For the music video, we did promotional and storytelling, so we had 1 girl be the main character of the story, and the rest of us were part of the band. Our song was called “Mountains of Fear,” and our story was based on fear to match the song. We researched and worked on the project in class when we could and filmed outside of school since the location was better. There were 2 days of filming; the first day we did the storytelling part, and the second we focused on the band, and then we edited at home. Once the music video was edited and finished, we kept on perfecting the presentation, did the voiceovers, and submitted everything. Honestly, I had a lot of fun with this project; we messed up and laughed a lot, which is seen in the behind-the-scenes clip link below.
